Full Marathon
Sunday March 29th 2025

Solo Rules
- You are responsible for having studied your route (map, QR code, GPX file for your watch)
- There will be a ‘marker boat’, with a blue flag at several points of your course, whenever there is an important turn to make. Look out for those small wooden boats.
- Drafting is allowed, but don’t draft the boats.
- 5 Check-Points for the Half Marathon.
- 8 Check-Points for the Full Marathon.
- Every CP will have water, isotonic drinks (Tritonic), bananas and boiled eggs.
- Now is whale shark season, so don’t freak out if one suddently appears in front of you. They don’t eat paddlers.
- We have plenty of boats scattered aroud the routes (Navy, Maritime Police, Naval Defense, Marine Department, Race Director, Radio Team, Mawali VIP/Press catamaran) etc..) watching over us. Don’t hesitate to call upon them if you have any issue.
- In case the weather severely deteriorates, we will stop the race and have sweeper boats pick you up. Ranking will then be based on your time at your last CP.
- The weather is expected to be hot, so really pay attention to your hydration.
- WhatsApp Live location. As an additional tracking/safety precaution, those of you who have a WhatsApp number will be tracked via Live Location. Make sure you also have a powerbank on board for your phone (for the 42KM).
